Clean wood without the damage
Wood is soft. Too much pressure, or holding a wand too close, leaves gouges and a fuzzy surface that never looks right. We use lower pressure, a wood-safe cleaner to lift the grey and green, and we work with the grain. The result is clean, even wood that's ready for stain or sealer.
What we clean
- Cedar and pressure-treated decks: boards, rails, stairs and the visible framing.
- Composite decks: mildew spots and the black film that builds up between boards.
- Wood privacy fences: both sides when you have access, so the whole fence matches.
- Vinyl fences: green algae and dirt washed off for a bright white finish.
- Concrete and paver patios.
Planning to stain?
A proper wash is the most important step before staining. Plan for the wood to dry for a couple of dry days after we clean it before you stain. If you're not sure your deck is ready, ask and we'll take a look at it.
